About
We had been selling French fries as an extra income before, setting up a small table on the street and taking orders from our neighbors. We’d run inside the house to fry the fries and even bought a 2-way radio to speed up the process. Unfortunately, that venture stopped after a few years.
One day, while walking, I saw a stall selling fries on top of a cup of juice, and it sparked a new idea, though it wasn’t very clear at the time. My daughter and my son, along with their friends, remained self-confessed fries enthusiasts. Years passed, and while scrolling on TikTok, I came across a playful moment when two cute little siblings jokingly asked, “Anong sabi ng patatas sa Tito niya?” and answered, “Hi, po Tito!” It caught my attention, and I couldn’t get the joy out of my mind. Every time my daughter’s friend visited our house, she greeted me with the same playful phrase: “Hi, po Tito.”
This lighthearted exchange sparked a strong determination to turn the idea into reality—a potato fries business. The opportunity came when a slot opened at Shaw Mall, Mandaluyong. Without hesitation, we rushed to prepare a cart, select flavor sauces, and canvass for supplies.
Now, we’re proud to introduce Hi, poTito!, a journey that began with a simple idea and has grown into something real. Join us as we serve delicious fries and work toward building a future with more branches ahead.
Enjoy the journey with Hi, poTito!
